JANE & BILL
Hiding out in the oaky hills of Topanga, Jane & Bill are happily retired Old School Computer Scientists - so ChatBots are SO NOT their fault! Together they connect with the community via relentless Emergency Prep emails & other pesky info outlets.
JANE
Having spent 20 years developing software for aerospace, video games, stock brokers, and on-line banking, she now feels moved to write in a language that something besides machines can understand.
BILL
With a PhD from UCLA & a socially stigmatizing amount of Internet Message Packet Knowledge, he is still waiting for Al Gore to invite him to one of his I Started The Internet parties... A self-taught website developer, he tirelessly wades through the HTML & Such whenever Jane gets that I Had a Thought in The Shower twinkle in her eye.
TOPANGA HISTORY
They have lived here since the early1990s - through Rocks and Fires and Rain - surrounded by roses and guarded by various snoozing cats. Their daughter, Becky, now all grown up, moved away & married is a Topanga Elementary and UC Berkeley Alumni. She is also the artist behind the Angel in Town Center: new.janeterjung.org/naylor-terjung/J&B/angel.html
